About Me

HELLO!
I'm Eleni Economides.
Sex Therapist and Intimacy Coach for women.
I know what it's like to not want to have sex as much as you used to in your intimate relationship.
I know what it's like to feel like sex is a chore or an obligation.
You feel guilty and stressed about it.
You want to want it, but you just don't.
You love your partner, and you want him to be happy, but you get resentful because his high sex drive feels like pressure for you.
And you feel broken. That was me.
Until one day, I decided that I had to figure out how not to live in fear of what would happen to my relationship if I continued to not want to have sex.
And I did. I figured it out.
I want to help you do the same.

You should work with me if you want to:
Be able to relax in your own space and not worry that your partner will ask for sex if he thinks you are not too "busy".
Feel at ease in the presence of your partner and not walk on eggshells.
Be present and able to show love and affection instead of holding back out of fear that your partner will get the wrong message or read it as a sign that you are in the "mood."
Learn how to say "no" without experiencing resentment, guilt or blame.
Feel good in your skin, love yourself and your body, and believe your partner when he tells you "you're hot"!
Experience sexual desire and create a sex life that is customized to what feels good to you.
Experience sexual pleasure and orgasms regularly.
HERE IS WHY YOU SHOULD WORK WITH ME:
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
I have been helping couples and individuals have better relationships and better sex lives since 2014.
There are communication skills and relationship rules that are crucial for a balanced, loving and meaningful relationship, and they are not talked about often.
There are ways to communicate your thoughts and feelings that leave you feeling good regardless of your partner's response.
There are ways to think about your partner that create connection.
When it comes to communication and connection in an intimate relationship, I've seen what works and what doesn't, and I can teach you what makes the difference.
I am a Certified Sex Therapist.
What people think and believe about sex and desire is often the very thing that keeps them stuck and unhappy with their sex lives.
Inadequate and inaccurate sex education and misinformation about female sexuality leads to performance anxiety, shame, misunderstandings, and tension in intimate relationships.
All of that can be avoided if you are willing to ask for help, get accurate information and learn how to have sex that feels good.

HERE IS WHAT SOME OF MY CLIENTS THINK:
"Eleni helped me gain insight about the areas in my life over which I have control, which helped me counter my initial perspective that the behavior I was unhappy about was uncontrollable. She has a very open, warm, non-judgmental demeanor. I was discussing a behavior about which I felt a lot of shame, and I never felt uncomfortable in her presence. In fact, she welcomed whatever came up for me in our sessions together. "
Eleni is very knowledgeable and empowering! The biggest takeaway from working with her was learning how to lean into my responsive desire. She helped me to understand that if I worked on finding my turn ons, and keep them intentionally in my mind, it could really help to ignite some desire when the time came for intimacy. This concept helped me to understand that there is nothing wrong with me, and this is so normal for all people, especially women. I also love how she framed this work as an act of "self-love".
Eleni offered meaningful insights through every step of our work together. She helped me clearly define my goals, and asked astute questions. She is a thoughtful listener, and her comments were always geared toward promoting my self-reflection so that the breakthroughs I made were empowering. Any deep self-reflection has the potential for discomfort; Eleni was always a compassionate and giving listener. Our time together was well spent and I would recommend her without reservation.
